The First Washington State Summit on US-India Trade and Commerce is being organized at the Seattle Center as part of NEXT FIFTY celebration commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Seattle Center and Seattle’s First World Fair, on September 27 and 28. The lead organizer, Washington State and India Trade Relations Action Committee (WASITRAC) has been engaged in the advocacy of bilateral trade relations between India and US since 2007.
Key sectors of interest this year are – Science & technology, Life Sciences, IT, Tourism, Infrastructure Development, Education, Corporate social responsibility and investment etc. Organizers are expecting delegations from four Indian states: Gujarat, Karnataka, Assam and Orissa.
